Information on the upcoming June 9, 2020 Primary Election in Ramsey County
This Primary Election there WILL NOT be an open polling place on Election day due to the COVID-19 virus.
Starting around April 20th Ramsey County residents will be receiving an application in the mail from the N.D. Secretary of State’s Office to Vote by Mail (VBM) for the June 9, 2020 Primary Election. All Ramsey County residents will receive an application to complete and return by mail to the Auditor’s Office. If you do not receive an application, please call us at 701.662.7007 or 701.662.7025, email kchristo@nd.gov or visit www.co.ramsey.nd.us website.
- Absentee/Mail Ballot Applications are also available online at the website of the North Dakota Secretary of State.
When completing the application, check which election, all information is filled in & make sure to sign and date. This will allow the Auditor’s Office to send you a ballot, along with a return envelope and instructions for completing the ballot.
Once ballots are completed, they can be returned either by mail or at the following drop off locations:
- Breezeway between the Courthouse & Memorial Building – Monday thru Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Devils Lake City utility drop box available 24hrs a day.
Ballot drop off locations will be available until 4:00 p.m. on Election Day.
The Express Vote equipment will be available at the courthouse, by appointment only, to anyone who needs more assistance in completing their ballot.
