Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a Deputy Sheriff.  Ramsey County offers a competitive benefit package.  Starting pay $38,800/year dependent on experience.  The Deputy Sheriff is responsible for law enforcement and crime prevention work, patrolling courthouse, guard court or grand jury, or escort defendants. Will enforce law and order in rural or unincorporated districts or serve legal processes of courts.  Must be licensed or licensable in ND for police officer.   Prior to the date of hire, applicants for this position must complete and pass a background check and medical examinations, including a drug screening, prior to appointment.  To be considered for the position a completed Ramsey County Application must be submitted.  A completed application may be emailed to smorris@lrlec.org or mailed to 222 W Walnut, Devils Lake, ND 58301.  Deadline to apply is August 17, 2018 at 5 pm.
